Hedge Specialist

Patrick works with clients to develop hedge strategies, and then execute these strategies by the use of futures, options, or cash market transactions.

Prior to working for Crop Risk, Patrick was employed by Prudential Securities. Patrick worked on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. His responsibilities included:

• executing various types of futures, options, and exchange for physical orders for institutional, hedge, and speculative clients.
• Developing complex options strategies to take advantage of market inefficiencies.
• Arbitrating errors between customers, floor members, and back office personnel, and
• clerking for Prudential Brokers on large discretionary orders.

Patrick holds a B.S. degree in Agricultural Business. He has taken various hedge, option, and pricing classes from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade.
